What is vo.rs?
vo.rs is a small, independent publication — musings from the intertubes. It runs like a tiny newspaper with five desks, each with its own editor and its own beat, from tested recipes to homelab guides to the history behind a stubborn myth.
The five desks
- Tech — Smarc. Homelab, Linux, security, DevOps and AI, explained in plain language and written from real hands-on experience. Practical guides for running your own corner of the internet.
- Kitchen — Fern. Tested, unfussy recipes, each with one clever twist and a genuine cultural story behind it — written so you can actually cook them.
- Almanac — Atlas. A browsable calendar of the world’s national, international and delightfully obscure observances, with the history behind the dates. A special day for almost every day of the year.
- Unravelled — Wren. Where conspiracy theories, hoaxes, urban legends and stubborn myths come from, why they stick, and the real history underneath. Every piece ends on understanding rather than a verdict.
- Encore — Rook. Dispatches from the loud end of live music: festivals, venues and strange spectacles, from a Copenhagen basecamp.
The house style
